Grandma Stanton's Funeral

Lydia on the way to the viewing May 8, 2012! I don't know who had my phone in the car and took this picture! Lydia kept wanting to see Grandma and say "Grandma bed!"  Telling us her casket was her bed! She also liked to see her ring and necklace! She probably asked to see her 7-8 times! Then Beckee and I left Josh and Ben and took Subway to a park for a few!
Hanging the stocking before the funeral!!
 Grandchildren singing!
 At the cemetery!
 Sweet Grandpa smiling!
 Grandma's beautiful program!!

The funeral was beautiful!!  The spirit very strong!  On the way to the cemetery I asked the boys what we can learn from Grandma besides how important family is . . .Trent said "We need to live the gospel!"  You got it my boy!!  As I was leaving Josh pointed out he had on his yellow tie that he wore home from his mission! Yellow means welcome home!  Tears filled my eyes and quietly said, "Welcoming your Grandma home!" I cried and cried!!  Partly because Josh is wonderful and so quietly intentional; and partly because Grandma is home!!
